UPDATE: Gates at Naval Air Station Pensacola and Corry Station have reopened after a temporary closure due to a security incident.
Navy Security Forces responded to the incident at 8:47 a.m. and authorities are conducting an investigation.
NAS Pensacola remains committed to the safety and security of its personnel, families, and civilian employees.
Details about the reason for the gate closures have not been released yet.
