Rapper Pooh Shiesty and Big30 were arrested for their involvement in the January 10 kidnapping and robbery of fellow rapper, Gucci Mane, in Dallas, Texas.
Lontrell Williams Sr, Pooh Shiesty's father, was taken into custody after a raid at their home on Wednesday, April 1, in connection with the case.
The FBI alleges that Pooh Shiesty and Big30, along with their coconspirators, visited Gucci Mane's studio in Dallas, Texas, held Mane and his associates at gunpoint, and forced them to release Shiesty from his contract with Gucci Mane's record label, 1017 Records.
They also stole money, jewelry, a Rolex watch, and other valuable items from the studio.
Lontrell Williams Sr, also known as Mob Boss, is a Memphis rapper and street figure who founded the label Mob Ties Records.
He is accused of masterminding the kidnapping and robbery of Gucci Mane, and could face life imprisonment if convicted.
