Qatar Downs Two Iranian Fighter Jets in Skirmish

Qatar's defense ministry confirmed the downing of two Iranian Sukhoi Su-24 bombers on Monday. The country's air force and navy intercepted seven ballistic missiles and five drones launched from Iran earlier in the day.
The Ministry of Defense of the State of Qatar stated that the Qatari Emiri Air Force successfully intercepted the two aircraft coming from Iran, along with seven ballistic missiles and five drones.
The Ministry emphasized that the threat was addressed immediately upon detection, and all missiles were shot down before reaching their targets.
The Sukhoi Su-24 is a Soviet-era, supersonic, all-weather attack aircraft and tactical bomber developed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau in the 1960s and introduced into service in the 1970s.
Key specifications of the Su-24 include a crew of two, a length of approximately 24.5 meters, a wingspan of 17.6 meters (swept) to 10 meters (unswept), a max speed of Mach 1.6 (~1,900 km/h), and a range of ~2,775 km (with external tanks).
