The video in question was shared by Martin Shkreli, a US investor and businessman who has been charged with fraud, as well as RT, a Russian-backed media outlet. The video shows a man, allegedly Swalwell, sitting barefoot on a bed with socks on, kissing a woman who is present next to him.
Meanwhile, Swalwell's Congressional and campaign senior staff have released a statement condemning his behavior. The statement reads, 'As leaders of teams working for Eric Swalwell, we're horrified by the recent reporting in the San Francisco Chronicle and by CNN. We stand with our former colleague, and the other women who have come forward. We believe you should stand with them, too.'
