A college athlete has tragically lost his life and two high school students have been admitted to the hospital following a vehicular accident in Texas.

Nineteen-year-old Sam Musgrave, a University of the Incarnate Word student, succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash that took place in Sanger on May 28.

Two Sanger High School students, members of the cross-country team, were injured in the accident.

A GoFundMe campaign has been established to assist Musgrave's family with expenses such as funeral and memorial costs, exceeding its goal of $15,000 with over $18,000 collected as of June 1.
