TLC singer Rozonda 'Chilli' Thomas has spoken out about a social media controversy that surfaced in recent days, clarifying that she re-posted a conspiracy theory about former First Lady Michelle Obama by mistake.
Chilli addressed the claims in a video obtained by TMZ, stating she had the 'utmost respect and admiration' for Michelle and would never do anything 'disrespectful to her or to any woman.'
She claimed that she accidentally clicked the re-post option on Instagram and immediately took down the post after finding it on her profile.
Regarding donations to Trump groups, Chilli stated that the organizations she supported were 'the things that support the veterans.'
According to FEC records, Chilli made donations totalling $1037.74 to MAGA-aligned Republicans, including WinRed, the Trump National Committee JFC, and Never Surrender Inc.
