Prosecutors plan to call Tyler Robinson's parents and his roommate, Lance Twiggs, to testify at the preliminary hearing in the Charlie Kirk murder case. Robinson's defense team has asked the court to delay the hearing by at least six months due to the large volume of evidence, which includes over 600,000 files.

The defense team claims that the discovery process is incomplete and complex, and one of their experts, a forensic biologist, will need months to review the evidence.

Robinson's defense team has also filed a motion to ban cameras from the courtroom, citing "harmful and prejudicial media coverage" of the case.

The defense team had previously claimed that there was a conflict of interest due to a prosecutor's daughter being present at the event where Kirk was murdered, but the judge denied this motion.

Charlie Kirk, 31, was allegedly shot dead by Robinson on September 10 during an appearance at a campus event in Utah.
