A top UAE official has hailed the country's victory in the recent conflict with Iran, citing its 'renaissance model' as a key factor in its success.

According to presidential adviser Anwar Gargash, the UAE 'prevailed through an epic national defense' that safeguarded its sovereignty and dignity, despite facing multiple drone and missile attacks.

The two-week US-Iran truce, which was reached just hours before a deadline to strike Iran, has allowed the UAE to 'navigate a complex regional landscape with greater resources, deeper understanding, and a more robust capacity to influence and shape the future.'

The UAE's air defences have intercepted over 2,200 drones, 520 ballistic missiles, and 26 cruise missiles since the start of the conflict, with at least 12 people killed in attacks on the country.

A recent fire at a gas processing unit in Abu Dhabi injured three people, including an Indian national, and caused minor damage.
