US Vice President JD Vance believes the Watergate scandal, which led to the resignation of former President Richard Nixon, would last just 12 hours today.

The Watergate scandal began with the arrest of five men attempting to break into the Democratic National Committee headquarters to surveil the office.
Nixon's direct connection to the wire-tapping and burglary was uncovered by Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, aided by an anonymous whistleblower known as 'Deep Throat.'
