The Aam Aadmi Party has announced it will contest the 2028 Madhya Pradesh assembly elections on its own, without forging any alliances.

AAP co-incharge Jai Bhagwan Upkar said the party is preparing to contest all assembly seats, citing the imprisonment of top leaders in 2023 as a setback for party morale.

Upkar stated that party workers are being reorganised in view of the next assembly elections, adding that the AAP will also contest all seats in the municipal elections next year.
