Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha announced that more than two-thirds of AAP Rajya Sabha members have merged with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to retain their Rajya Sabha membership.
The move comes days after Chadha was removed as deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha over allegations of not raising key issues against the government.
Chadha, along with MPs Ashok Mittal and Sandeep Pathak, made the announcement in a press conference, citing the AAP's deviation from its principles and values.
He accused the party of working for personal benefits rather than the nation's interest and stated that he wants to be part of positive politics.
