Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav expressed 'great sorrow' over the death of his stepbrother, Prateek Yadav, who was 38 years old.
Prateek Yadav, stepson of SP patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav and husband of BJP leader Aparna Yadav, died at Lucknow's Civil Hospital in Uttar Pradesh.
Akhilesh Yadav recalled that Prateek was very 'health conscious' and had aspired to make a meaningful contribution in life.
Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath also condoled the demise of Prateek Yadav, saying it is 'extremely heartbreaking'.
