The Al Falah Medical College in India has been shrouded in controversy following a terror probe that led to the arrest of its founder, Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui. The investigation, which began after the Red Fort blast on November 10, has also implicated faculty members connected to Dr. Umar un Nabi, the alleged mastermind behind the attack. As classes resumed for first-year MBBS students on Thursday, uncertainty and anxiety loomed large over the campus. Parents, who had traveled from cities across the country, expressed concerns about their children's safety, citing the heavy police presence and media scrutiny. "We're torn between keeping our daughter here and jeopardizing her education," said Manoj Kumar, a parent from Agra. "The college needs to rebuild trust and communicate openly with us.
