Union Home Minister Amit Shah emphasized the importance of a quadrangular security grid in securing India's borders, comprising the BSF, the Army, border-area citizens, and the local administration.
During his interaction with BSF personnel at the Sanchu Post in Rajasthan's Bikaner, Shah praised their dedication and affirmed the Centre's goal of 'zero infiltration.'
He noted that border security relies on a 'quadrangular security grid' and that it is not an isolated duty, but a territorial responsibility shared by all.
The Home Minister also announced the formation of a high-level committee to address unnatural demographic changes and the installation of anti-drone systems within the next six months.
Shah urged the BSF to keep a vigilant watch on any 'unnatural demographic change' occurring in villages situated near the border and stressed the importance of constant vigilance over all threats originating from across the border.
