A 16-year-old girl from Assam's Cachar district has been allegedly raped and threatened with an acid attack by a 19-year-old man. The prime accused is currently on the run, but his father, a businessman and religious preacher, has been arrested for allegedly supporting his son's crimes and intimidating the victim and her family.
