Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha has pledged to take stern action against the land and sand mafia, as well as those responsible for spreading chaos in the state. Sinha, who also oversees revenue and land reforms, expressed confidence that a 'pleasant and healthy' environment would be restored in Bihar by the end of March. He emphasized that the government is working to address land-related grievances and has instructed officials to identify and tackle those involved in the mafia. To achieve this, the government plans to introduce new laws and hold regular reviews every 15 days, during which Sinha will personally visit districts with high complaint rates. Sinha's efforts to tackle the mafia are part of a series of meetings, known as 'Bhoomi Sudhar Jan Kalyan Samvad,' aimed at resolving land-related issues and improving the lives of citizens. The next meeting is scheduled for January 15, with a comprehensive review set for the end of the month.
