The BJP-led Mahayuti alliance has released its manifesto for the upcoming Mumbai civic body elections, outlining ambitious plans to transform the city into a 'global powerhouse' through technology-led governance. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis unveiled the document, promising to harness Japanese technology and local administration to tackle civic problems and bring services to citizens' mobile phones. The manifesto aims to curb corruption using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and focuses on addressing the issue of migration, vowing to 'free' Mumbai of alleged illegal Bangladeshi and Rohingya migrants.
