Ruling BJP lawmaker Pritam Lodhi has threatened to fill IPS officer Ayush Jhakar's house with cow dung over a minor accident involving his son.
Lodhi's remarks came after Jhakar summoned his son, Dinesh, and warned him not to appear in Karera again.
The IPS Association condemned Lodhi's remarks, calling them derogatory, uncivil, and caste-based.
State Congress chief Jitu Patwari demanded action against Lodhi, saying the BJP's true tactics and character have been exposed.
BJP spokesperson Hitesh Bajpai said the party believes in the rule of law and expects both officers and public representatives to uphold morale.
