Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has made a scathing claim that nearly one-sixth of BJP MPs in the Lok Sabha have won through vote theft. He also accused the Haryana government of being an "infiltrator". Gandhi made these claims on his official X account, stating that if fair elections were held, the BJP could not have won more than 140 seats.
Gandhi also supported Mamata Banerjee's claims that over 100 seats were stolen from the TMC in Bengal. He alleged that the BJP has stolen elections in Assam and Bengal with the support of the Election Commission.
Reacting to the allegations, parliamentary affairs minister Kiren Rijiju asked Rahul Gandhi to respect the mandate of the people and respect the Constitution of India.
