The Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) has asked industries to take immediate corrective measures following violent labour protests in Noida, but rejected the concept of a uniform national wage structure, citing it as 'neither practical nor economically sustainable.'

In a statement, the trade union affiliated to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) acknowledged that the current unrest reflects genuine concerns of workers and called for fair wage practices, reduction of contract labour, and transparent dialogue mechanisms.

The BMS statement highlighted that India's industrial landscape is diverse, with varying wage structures across states and sectors due to differing economic conditions, cost of living, and productivity levels.

The union also condemned actions that have contributed to the creation, escalation, or exploitation of the situation, and welcomed the UP government's decision to increase minimum wages in response to the protests.
