Chhattisgarh Woman's Desperate Plea Falls on Deaf Ears as She Takes Own Life

A 22-year-old woman, reportedly struggling with mental health issues, took her own life by hanging from a police communication tower in Chhattisgarh's Jashpur district on Tuesday morning.

Despite efforts by police and onlookers to dissuade her, the woman, who had previously attempted to end her life, used her scarf to hang herself from the tower.

According to officials, the woman had been watching suicide-related videos over the past few days and had called the state police emergency response service, 'Dial 112', before the incident.

The police have launched an investigation into the matter and are questioning the woman's family members to gather more details.
