Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge clarified his remark against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that he did not call him a terrorist in a literal sense but rather accused him of facilitating terrorism by misusing government agencies.

The BJP has written to the Election Commission, complaining about the 'grossly derogatory remarks' against PM Modi, alleging that they amount to an offence under the Model Code of Conduct.

Kharge accused PM Modi of using CBI and other agencies to 'scare people' and defeat them in elections, while the BJP has demanded an apology from Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Tamil Nadu CM M K Stalin for calling PM Modi a terrorist.
