Communist Party of India (Marxist) general secretary MA Baby expressed confidence that the Left Democratic Front (LDF) would win the upcoming Kerala assembly polls. Baby claimed that Congress's economic policies paved the way for BJP's growth and spoke about the Left's continued struggle against the Sangh Parivar.
Baby also responded to Rahul Gandhi's claim that CPI(M) is the B team of BJP. He stated that hundreds of top-level ex-Congress leaders are in leading positions of the BJP, making Congress a feeder organisation of the BJP.
The CPI(M) leader also addressed Amit Shah's claims that Left parties' ideology is borrowed from China and Russia. Baby pointed out that the RSS was shaped by the militarist structure inspired by BS Moonje's meetings with European fascists, including Mussolini.
Baby also spoke about the CPI(M)'s future in West Bengal, stating that his party is working among common people and getting good responses from the toiling masses and students.
