Congress leader Digvijaya Singh has sparked controversy with his praise for the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's (RSS) organisational strengths. In a post on X, Singh shared a photo of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and veteran BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani, highlighting the RSS's ability to mobilise and empower its members. Singh's comments come ahead of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting, where the party is set to finalise its strategy against the Centre's decision to scrap the MGNREGA scheme. Singh's remarks have been seen as an indirect criticism of the Congress party's functioning and its need for reforms. He had earlier called for decentralisation and more pragmatic functioning within the party. Singh's praise for the RSS's organisational capabilities has drawn a strong reaction from Congress leaders, with Pawan Khera labelling the RSS as an organisation that "cannot teach an organisation founded by Gandhi.
