DMK president MK Stalin has announced the party is undertaking 'appropriate' reviews to revamp its organisational structure, following a recent power shift in Tamil Nadu.

The move comes after actor-politician C Joseph Vijay was sworn in as the state's chief minister, with DMK emerging as the principal opposition party.

In a letter to party members, Stalin emphasized the party's continued importance in determining Tamil Nadu's political course.

He also called for celebrations to mark his father M Karunanidhi's 103rd birth anniversary on June 3, appealing to party executives to make the event a catalyst for growth and to youth to share the 'historical achievements' of Kalaignar on social media.
