Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin released the DMK's manifesto for the upcoming assembly elections, focusing on six aspects: welfare of women, family, youth, farmers, housing, infrastructure, and governance.
The manifesto includes a ₹8,000 coupon for women, free travel for women, improved medical care, skill training for youth, and job creation.
The Illatharasi scheme will provide women with a ₹8,000 coupon to buy or replace electronic goods in their household.
Women will also travel free on buses through Vidiyal Payanam.
The DMK has vowed to increase pension for senior citizens, widows, and spinsters to ₹2,000 per month and provide skill training for five lakh youth.
The party has also promised to create 50 lakh jobs in the next five years and cover medical treatment up to ₹10 lakh.
Stalin stated that the DMK will form the government for the seventh time with continued public support.
