A 25-year-old mother of three has made a significant breakthrough in the investigation into her gangrape case in Faridabad. During a test identification parade on Wednesday, she identified two men accused of raping her in a moving ambulance on December 30. The suspects, one from Mathura and the other from Jhansi, were arrested earlier and are currently in judicial custody. The victim, who suffered serious head and facial injuries in the assault, was discharged from hospital last week. Police say they have gathered enough evidence to file a chargesheet against the accused soon. The incident took place when the victim accepted a lift from the accused in the early hours of the day, only to be thrown out of the speeding vehicle near Raja Chowk in Faridabad. An FIR was registered at Kotwali police station based on a statement from the victim's family, and an investigating officer had previously revealed that the accused worked as a driver and helper on the ambulance of a private hospital.
