Four College Students Killed, One Critical in Hyderabad Car Crash

A devastating car accident in Hyderabad has claimed the lives of four young college students. The tragedy occurred early Thursday morning when the sports car they were traveling in crashed into a tree at Mirzaguda, near Mokila, on the outskirts of the city. The deceased have been identified as Kargayala Sumith (20), Sri Nikhil (20), Devala Surya Teja (20), and Balmuri Rohith (18), all students from ICFAI Business School and Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology. According to police, the car was speeding when it lost control and crashed into the tree, causing severe damage. The impact was so great that the vehicle broke into two pieces. Four occupants died on the spot, while a 20-year-old woman, Sunkari Nakshatra, sustained serious injuries. She has been admitted to a corporate hospital in Hyderabad, where her condition remains critical. The police have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident, including whether overspeeding or reckless driving was involved. Preliminary information suggests that the group was returning to Hyderabad after dropping off a friend at Mokila. The driver, Kargayala Sumith, was behind the wheel at the time of the accident, but it is not yet known whether he was under the influence of alcohol. The police have registered a case of accident and are working to ascertain the facts surrounding the tragedy. The bodies of the deceased have been taken to the mortuary at Chevella government hospital for post-mortem examination.
