Union Minister Nitin Gadkari emphasized that the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) ideology is centered around serving the people, regardless of their caste, creed, or religion. Speaking at a public meeting in Nagpur, Gadkari aimed to dispel misconceptions about the party and its stance on Muslims. According to Gadkari, the BJP is not against Muslims, but rather against terrorism and its perpetrators. He stressed that the party values the sacrifices made by Muslims who serve the country, just as it does for Hindus. The Union minister highlighted the importance of unity and equality, stating that everyone's blood is the same and that they are all Indians working towards a common goal. Gadkari also addressed concerns that the BJP's election victory would lead to violence. He assured the public that the party's ideology teaches its workers to work for everyone without bias, and that he believes in serving all constituents, regardless of whether they voted for him or not. During his campaign, Gadkari listed various infrastructure projects carried out by the Maharashtra government and the BJP, which he claimed would fulfill the people's hopes and dreams if the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance wins the Nagpur Municipal Corporation election with a full majority. He also clarified that the party does not aim to change the Constitution, contrary to misinformation spread by opposition leaders. In fact, Gadkari pointed out that the Congress party has attempted to alter the Constitution 80 times, whereas the BJP seeks to preserve and strengthen it.
