Social activist Anna Hazare has expressed his disapproval of Raghav Chadha's decision to leave the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), calling it a move driven by personal interests.

Hazare stated that such political party switches are 'not right' and do not align with the principles of the Indian Constitution.

He also suggested that internal issues within AAP may have contributed to the exits, saying that the party's leadership is at fault for not following the right path.

The remarks come after Chadha, along with Sandeep Pathak and Ashok Mittal, announced their exit from AAP and joined the BJP, claiming that nearly two-thirds of AAP's Rajya Sabha MPs had quit and would function as a separate faction.

Hazare's comments have sparked a political buzz, with AAP beginning internal deliberations to assess the fallout and chart its next steps.
