External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar held crucial talks with US counterpart Marco Rubio and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) envoys to address the fallout of the West Asia conflict.
Jaishankar discussed the conflict's impact on India's food, fuel, and fertiliser security, with Rubio, and agreed to remain in touch.
He also met with ambassadors from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, and Qatar, thanking them for their support to the Indian community in the region.
The Indian government has stepped up efforts to ensure the security and well-being of 10 million Indians living in West Asian countries.
Jaishankar also spoke with Sri Lankan and German counterparts, Vijitha Herath and Johann Wadephul, regarding the West Asia conflict's repercussions.
