Incidents of non-Marathi speakers getting thrashed by people belonging to political outfits, particularly the Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), were reported. The Lionel Messi G.O.A.T India tour, which began with a chaotic event at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata, saw fans breaking barricades, storming the pitch, and vandalising tents after Messi abruptly left the arena. The chaos led to the arrest of the event organiser, the resignation of West Bengal sports minister Aroop Biswas, and petitions seeking the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) or other central agencies to take over the probe. India's politicians, content creators, and celebrities were all caught up in the whirlwind of controversies, leaving the public fatigued and wondering what's next.
