New Delhi has condemned the attack on French UN Peacekeepers serving with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), demanding accountability for the crime.

The Ministry of External Affairs released a statement, underscoring India's commitment to the safety of those serving under the Blue Helmet.

One peacekeeper was killed and three others were injured in the attack, which took place while they were clearing explosive ordnance in the village of Ghanduriyah.
