India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar hit back at Pakistan's reported role as a mediator between the US and Iran, saying India is 'not a dalaal nation.'
At an all-party meeting on the West Asia crisis, Jaishankar also dismissed opposition claims that New Delhi had remained silent on the crisis, saying the government had been commenting and responding.
The government further added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had conveyed to US President Donald Trump that the war must end soon, stressing that the ongoing conflict is hurting all sides.
Opposition leaders, however, remained unconvinced, terming the government's replies 'unsatisfactory' and demanding a full discussion on the issue in Parliament.
