A man in India has been arrested for brutally assaulting a four-year-old boy after an argument with the child's father.
The accused, an autorickshaw driver, allegedly smashed the child's head on an iron rod after slamming him to the ground.
The incident took place in a housing society in Vasai, Maharashtra, on Monday night and was captured on CCTV camera.
The child was critically injured and taken to the hospital, where he is battling for his life.
The accused was remanded to three days of police custody after a case was registered against him under 'attempt to murder' and other relevant sections of the BNS.
