With the last day of filing nominations in Kerala assembly elections, the state's poll picture became clear on Sunday as the three major fronts finalised their candidates for all the 140 constituencies.
The Left Democratic Front (LDF) finalised 75 candidates for CPI(M), 24 for CPI, and 12 for Kerala Congress (M), with Left-backed Independents fielded in 14 seats.
The UDF, on the other hand, has Congress contesting the largest number of seats (92), while IUML will contest in 27 seats, Kerala Congress (J) in 8 seats, and RSP in 4 seats.
The NDA is composed of BJP with its candidates in 99 seats, BDJS in 22 seats, and Twenty-20 in 19 seats.
Kerala goes to the polls on April 9.
