Over the past five decades, the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, and the Sri Sathya Sai Drinking Water Supply Projects have become synonymous with excellence and generosity. These institutions, a testament to Baba's unwavering commitment, have been serving humanity with unrelenting passion and dedication. The trust's managing trustee, R J Rathnakar, shared, "We are carrying forward the works with the support of devotees and followers, just as Baba directed us. We want to strengthen his legacy, and we're continuously upgrading and expanding our services." The trust has made significant strides in recent years, including the introduction of free robotic heart surgery at their hospital in Puttaparthi. Dr. Anil Kumar Mulpur, Joint Director and Head of Cardiac Surgery, revealed that the hospital has been performing free heart surgeries for 25 years, with a goal to increase the number of surgeries to at least one per day. The trust's drinking water project, which has provided clean water to over 1,621 villages, is another remarkable achievement. The Sri Sathya Sai Mobile Hospital, a novel outreach program, takes healthcare to the doorsteps of rural communities, offering diagnostic services, minor surgeries, and dental procedures. The trust's corpus, built through donations and careful management, has grown to nearly ₹1,000 crores, enabling them to fund their programs and services. As the centenary birthday celebrations of Sathya Sai Baba approach, the trust remains committed to carrying forward his mission with the support of devotees and followers. The foundation laid by Baba has proven solid, and his legacy continues to inspire and uplift humanity.
