West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has expressed confidence in her party's performance ahead of the assembly election count on May 4, predicting a landslide victory with over 200 seats. She dismissed exit poll predictions that favor the BJP, calling them propaganda meant to influence the share market.
Mamata reminded her party's counting agents of past exit polls that were inaccurate, saying 'such exit polls have no value.' She instructed them to remain present at counting centers until the process concludes and to report any unusual activities to the party's top brass.
Meanwhile, tension arose at two counting centers in Kolkata after TMC leaders alleged a lack of transparency and possible malpractice at strong rooms storing sealed EVMs.
