Mukesh Ambani Praises Modi, Commits ₹7 Lakh Crore to Gujarat Expansion

Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani has announced a significant expansion of the conglomerate's investments in Gujarat, praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and commitment to the state's growth. Speaking at the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference for Kutch and Saurashtra, Ambani revealed that Reliance would double its investment in the state over the next five years, reaching a total of ₹7 lakh crore. This expansion is expected to create numerous job opportunities, increase livelihoods, and stimulate economic growth. Ambani credited Modi with restoring India's confidence and sense of purpose on the global stage, stating that the Prime Minister's vision has reshaped the country's trajectory for the next 50 years. He described Modi as an 'invincible protective wall' that shields India from external challenges and uncertainties. Reliance has been the state's largest investor, with ₹3.5 lakh crore invested in the past five years. The company has a long-standing association with Gujarat and considers the state to be central to its identity and growth. Ambani also announced support for Modi's vision to host the 2036 Olympic Games in Ahmedabad, outlining a partnership with the state government to manage the Veer Savarkar Multi-Sports Complex. The Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference for Kutch and Saurashtra was inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi, who also participated in the Somnath Swabhiman Mahotsav Parv and offered prayers at the revered Somnath Temple.
