Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has called for self-reliance in power consumption within the agricultural sector. He urged farmers to install solar panels under the PM-KUSUM scheme and adopt rooftop solar installations under the PM Surya Ghar scheme.
Naidu announced plans to establish 5,000 EV charging stations across the state and introduce 1,050 electric buses. He also stated that Andhra Pradesh aims to generate 160 GW of green energy, with investments worth ₹5.95 lakh crore already mobilised.
The Chief Minister vowed to develop Anakapalli district as a major investment hub in the country with the establishment of large-scale industrial projects and green energy initiatives. He also announced the establishment of a massive US$ 10 billion data centre by Google in Visakhapatnam and the inauguration of the Bhogapuram International Airport.
