The Special NIA Court at Patiala House Court has remanded six foreigners, including three Ukrainians and a US citizen, to 11 days of National Investigation Agency (NIA) custody.
They were arrested from various locations in India, including Delhi, Lucknow, and Kolkata, and are accused of entering a protected area in Mizoram and contacting ethnic war groups in Myanmar.
The NIA alleges that the foreigners were trained in Myanmar and were training ethnic war groups associated with insurgent groups in India.
They are also accused of bringing a huge consignment of drones from Europe via India.
The NIA had sought 15 days' custody to investigate the case, but the court granted only 11 days till March 27.
