A Nashik court has refused to grant interim anticipatory bail to Nida Khan, one of eight TCS-linked BPO employees accused of sexual abuse, harassment, and religious coercion at the workplace.
The court has issued notices to the investigating officer and the complainant's counsel, seeking written submissions by April 27, when the anticipatory bail plea will be heard.
Khan's lawyers argued for interim relief on health grounds, stating that she is pregnant, but the court chose not to issue an interim order.
The SIT has arrested seven employees of the BPO, including a female operations manager, over allegations of exploitation, forceful conversion, molestation, and mental harassment.
