Hyderabad MP and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi slammed PM Modi and Pakistan over their alleged support for Israel in the US-Israel attack on Iran.

Owaisi said India could have played a big moral role in peace efforts had it been neutral in the conflict.

He accused PM Modi of siding with US President Donald Trump and Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, saying that had India been neutral, its words would have carried weight.

Owasi also slammed Pakistan over its alleged support for Israel, saying that it does not know the basics of Islam.

He warned that if the war continues, it would not stop at the destruction of Iran, but would spread to other countries, including Turkiye and the entire Arab nation.

Owaisi also pointed out that India's import of 60% of LPG and oil through the Strait of Hormuz makes it vulnerable to the conflict.

He urged the government to speak out against the war and consider the plight of millions of Indians working in the West Asian region.
