PM Modi's Heartfelt Message to Bengal Boatman: Live in Harmony

A boat owner in Bengal's Hooghly, Mohammed Iftikhar Ahmed, shared that Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave him a message to “live together cordially” during his visit to the ghats.

According to Ahmed, the arrangements of seven boats were made at short notice, and PM Modi took his boat for a ride after a morning walk.

The Prime Minister interacted with the boatman, asked for his name, and gave him a warm hug after returning to the shore.

Another boatman, Gourango Biswas, also shared his experience, saying that PM Modi suddenly arrived, rented the boat, and went for a ride for around an hour.

PM Modi posted on X, featuring photos of his time at the Hooghly River, expressing gratitude to Ma Ganga and reaffirming his commitment towards the development of Bengal.
