Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor has moved out of his Patna residence to live at the Bihar Navnirman Ashram until the next assembly polls. He plans to continue managing the party's activities from the ashram, which is situated near IIT-Patna.

Kishor attacked former chief minister Nitish Kumar for stepping down from his position to secure a Rajya Sabha nomination, calling it a "migration" caused by economic distress.

He also criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana, which granted ₹10,000 to 1.5 crore women ahead of the assembly elections, warning that people should not sell their votes for the amount.

Kishor predicted a higher surge in fuel prices and a shortage of fertilisers due to the ongoing US and Israel attack on Iran, and targeted Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary for alleged extravagance despite Bihar being one of the poorest states in the country.
