President Droupadi Murmu visited the Army Training Command (ARTRAC) headquarters in Shimla, urging the Indian Army to enhance its operational preparedness.
During her five-day visit to Himachal Pradesh, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces was briefed about ARTRAC's evolution and complimented the ranks and defence civilians for their stellar work.
ARTRAC has taken novel initiatives, including drone training, niche technology absorption, and digitisation and automation, which the President acknowledged as crucial for military glory, Atmanirbharta, and Viksit Bharat.
President Murmu was received by Himachal Pradesh Governor Kavinder Gupta and Lt Gen Devendra Sharma, and later accorded a warm sendoff at Annandale Helipad in Shimla.
