Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has shared an emotional note praising the 'spirit of Keralam' and the nurses from the state.
Rahul's mother, Sonia Gandhi, was admitted to Delhi's Sir Ganga Ram Hospital late on Tuesday.
Recounting a night at the hospital, Rahul said his mother was comforted by a nurse from Kerala who checked on her through the night.
The nurse visited Sonia every hour, smiling and holding her hand, which made Rahul think of the many people comforted by nurses from Kerala in their most difficult moments.
Rahul said the nurse worked the whole night, and women from Kerala are comforting people all over the world, holding their hands and making them feel at ease.
The Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition hailed the 'spirit of Keralam' and praised the dedication of Kerala nurses.
