Congress leader Rahul Gandhi claimed that the lack of progress in corruption cases against Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is proof of collusion between the CPI(M) and the BJP.
Gandhi made the statement while addressing a Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) rally in Kozhikode via video-conferencing.
He questioned why the BJP does not attack the Kerala Chief Minister, despite having 40 cases filed against him and being interrogated by the Enforcement Directorate.
Gandhi also attacked the CPI(M) and BJP over their handling of unemployment in Kerala, alleging that one in three young Keralites are unemployed due to their policies.
He further claimed that backdoor appointments are common and that merit does not matter if you know the leaders of the LDF.
AICC chief Mallikarjun Kharge also criticized the LDF over the handling of the Sabarimala gold theft case, saying that the government did not even spare God.
