The Rajasthan police have launched an investigation into allegations of leaked questions in the National Entrance Eligibility Test (NEET) 2026, following intelligence about a question bank circulated online that matched the examination questions.

The Special Operation Group (SOG) of the state police received an internal tip-off on May 7 about a guess paper circulated through WhatsApp among aspirants before the exam, which contained 410 questions, out of which 120 questions in chemistry and biology were found in the main paper.

The examination was held on May 3, and the SOG has interrogated 12 people from Sikar, Jaipur, Kota, and Jhunjhunu districts, as well as Dehradun in Uttarakhand.

The question bank was completely hand-written, and investigators are trying to find out whether any money changed hands as the paper was circulated.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has acknowledged the SOG investigation and asserted that the exam was conducted under full security protocol, with question papers transported in GPS-tracked vehicles and examination halls monitored by AI-assisted CCTV cameras.
