The security arrangements outside the residences of Mamata Banerjee and her nephew Abhishek Banerjee have been scaled down following the ouster of the Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal.

The development comes two days after the Bharatiya Janata Party swept the assembly polls, securing 207 seats and leaving the TMC with 80 seats.
Only the Z+ security arrangement will remain, with extra police personnel withdrawn.
An internal memo ordering the trimming of security cover was issued by the Joint Commissioner of Kolkata Police on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the state's advocate general Kishore Datta has sent his resignation to the Governor of West Bengal.
